Contain-A-Way Services is a full service waste disposal company that was started in 1997 by Ken Leask. Ken has owned several small businesses in the High River area, he started High River Rentals in 1980 and has continued growing businesses ever since. The company was started with one roll-off truck and 10 bins; currently Contain-A-Way Services has 11 trucks and over 950 bins servicing south Calgary, High River, Okotoks, Vulcan, Claresholm and Nanton.
Contain-A-Way employs 10 friendly staff that are always there to make sure the jobs are done with courtesy and on time. The well trained staff is more than happy to answer any questions that you have on the site or over the phone. We have no long term contracts like the large multi-national waste management companies. Our quality service and dependability is our contract and that is how we retain a good customer base.

Contain-A-Way also strives to support local charities and groups. We are proud to sponsor and support many local activities. Being a local company with homegrown employees and ownership we understand the importance of keeping our community strong.
Our overhead division offers regular pick-up on a monthly, weekly or multi-weekly frequencies. We offer service from Dewinton north, Nanton south, Eden Valley west and Herrington east covering a wide area. Our front load bins come in five different sizes 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 cubic yard... so a variety of choice and convenience is available. All are made of metal and come with lids. We also provide bins for metal, cardboard, and paper bins for recycling.
The roll-off division does everything from new home construction, to farm/estate clean-ups, and re-roofing jobs. These larger bins come in handy and can save many trips to the local landfill. We service from Calgary city limits, south to Claresholm, east to Vulcan and west past Longview.
Hours of operation are:
Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM (if deliveries are scheduled that day)
